Art the Clown:
Scenario
After being resurrected by a sinister creature, Art the Clown returns to the ordinary town of Miles County, where he takes on a teenage girl and her younger brother on Halloween night. The scenes filmed in “Terrifier”; the haunted house were filmed at a real haunted house called the Fright Factory in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The filmmakers used what was already available. Art’s favorite acid is fluoroantimonic acid, which he keeps in a clear glass bottle. It is a superacid that can dissolve even glass..
Adapted from Terrifier (2016)
There is a middling scene in the psychiatric hospital, with Chris Jericho as guard Alan Burke and Leah Voysey as nurse.. The German DVD and Blu-ray releases by Tiberius Film are cut by about. three minutes to ensure a "Not Under 18" rating (this was necessary because video releases have stricter guidelines than theatrical releases). Basically every violent scene was cut to tone down the violence. Nameless Media’s 4K Ultra-HD Blu-ray Mediabook releases are completely uncut and have been given a light SPIO/JK approval.
It’s clear that the director got carried away
The Equalizer (Not Alone) Written by Tim McEwan and Tyler Lyle (Jamison as Tyler Lyle) Performed by The Midnight Courtesy of BMG Platinum Songs U.S. (BMI). The film is about 45 minutes too long, as others have pointed out. Some plot developments don’t fit with the original film at all. Sometimes, when directors get their hands on a bigger budget, they feel like they have to expand the plot and the running time.
Less is always more!
The plot elements add confusion to a simple plot that would have been about 90 minutes long, because that would have made more of an impact. The carnage wasn’t as bad as the internet hype made it seem. None of this type of carnage was new. It had been done in many other films. I think the creator of “Terrifier 2”; adds extra thematic storylines to the sequel unnecessarily.
It ends up bordering on fantasy or sci-fi
My advice to the creator or director is "Keep it short and sweet."
