I saw this film at the Cannes Film Festival this year – and what started as a film just to fill my free time turned out to be the best film I saw at Cannes this year!
(And I watched “Kinds of Kindness” by Lanthimos and “Oh Canada!” by Paul Schrader) This movie had everything a good movie should have – great acting, good plot, crazy comedy, great action sequences, all with excellent rhythm and comic timing.
Of course, the movie was subtitled, but the whole room burst into laughter and cheered wholeheartedly when the movie ended
The film follows a team of special case investigators from the Korea Police Department who investigate a serial killer with a unique modus operandi.
You’d normally expect the film to be dark and disturbing, but you’ll be surprised at how lighthearted and comedic all of these scenes were
