The character of Sawyer was originally meant to be an older, slick, suit-wearing city con artist from Buffalo, NY. However, when Josh Holloway forgot a line at his audition and subsequently kicked a chair in frustration and loudly swore, the writers liked the edge he brought to the Sawyer character and decided to write Sawyer as more of a Southern, darker drifter instead.. Jin and Sun are married and share the family name "Kwon", which becomes an important plot point in the final season.

It's awesome how good the series has aged. Seeing it all again also made some storylines make much more sense. I even think the ending makes much more sense now.

That's something I was totally blind for the first time I've seen LostIt's an awesome series that paved the way for the beautiful landscape of high quality tv series we enjoy today

Scenario

Decades after their fight at the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, a middle-aged Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence are once again martial arts rivals. During the original filming of The Karate Kid, the late director John G. The Cobra Kai crew dug through the studio vault and found tons of never-before-seen clips that they were able to sneak into the show via flashbacks. One of them is Zabka’s real mother, who was in the stands from various angles that hadn’t been seen until 2018.

Many people believe that Miyagi’s name on his tombstone is a continuity error, considering that in Karate Kid 4 (1994) his name is listed as Keisuke, but it was actually previously shown on a poster Chozen showed him in Karate Kid 2 (1986) and was Nariyoshi. This means that it was The Next Karate Kid who changed his name, while Cobra Kai kept the name he was previously given. Another interesting fact, however, is that the name given in The Karate Kid Part II was not the original name given to Miyagi. In The Karate Kid (1984), it is briefly seen on Miyagi’s dog tags attached to the keys to a 1948 Ford he gave to Daniel for his birthday that Miyagi’s name is Hideo.

I can’t believe how much I like Cobra Kai

He appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon: Anthony Mackie/Ralph Macchio/Kiry Shabazz (2018). At first I thought it was going to be a cheesy kids show. This is not the case, any fan of the original trilogy will love it. The action takes place 34 years after the events of the first movie and the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament.

She is the absolute star here!

It features the hapless Johnny Lawrence (William Zavala), who tries to get his life back on track and opens the famous Cobra Kai dojo. This reignites his rivalry with the successful Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio). I can’t say enough about how good Zabka is here. It’s a shame she hasn’t become a bigger star over the years because she proves she can carry the show here.

I promise you will love it!

Again, if you are a fan of the original trilogy, check this out. I look forward to more seasons in the future.

Scenario

Claire Beauchamp Randall, a nurse in World War II, mysteriously travels back in time to Scotland in 1743. There, she meets a dashing Highland warrior and becomes involved in an epic rebellion. Moore (the TV series’ developer), his crew decided to keep the Gaelic words instead of translating them into English.

This kept the narrative in the first person, showing Claire’s inability to understand Gaelic. The idea was suggested by producer David Brown, who said he had seen something similar in Skin Deep (1998), a foreign alternative film starring actor and singer Gustavo Goulart. The opening music changes from season to season to reflect what is happening in the plot.

During season 3, tribal drums were added because much of the season is set in the West Indies

In the first half of season 2 (which is set in France), some of the lyrics are in French. In the second half of season 2 (which is mainly about preparing for war), a militaristic drum roll is added to the opening music. In season 4, bluegrass fiddles and banjos were added, plus some of the lyrics were sung in a Southern accent because the season is set primarily in America.

The Skye Boat Song (uncredited) Traditional Scottish air with lyrics by Sir Harold Boulton New lyrics by Robert Louis Stevenson. I’ve never read the Outlander books, so I didn’t know what to expect. I originally thought it was a show aimed only at women, but I was so wrong.

I binged the entire series and loved it!

This show has something for everyone and I’m so glad I finally gave it a chance because it’s become one of my favorite shows!

The cobblestone streets and driveways were left, and a fake town was built on them

The site, known as Beaver Bank Villa, has a long history, and many years ago contained apartments, a meeting house, fire station, school, church, convenience store, etc. (all demolished by 2004) to support workers at a nearby military base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s. When Boyd steps into a distant tree, he finds himself at the bottom of a well.

A rope is dropped to him

As Boyd climbs out of the well, Martin is the only one in the room and he is chained to the wall. Martin didn’t throw the rope down. Introducing Half in the Bag: 2022 Mid-Year Catch-Up Part 1 (TV Shows) (2022).

While it’s not perfect, it has suspense and is good enough to keep me hooked

Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be) Written by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans Performed by The Pixies. The preview looked like a mix of several different shows, including Wayward Pines, Lost, and a bit of Under the Dome. I expected it to have a vague story when I saw that it was produced by the same creators as Lost, but it has a solid story and the characters are likable.

When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel, and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford to be in the show, Segel said that Goldstein originally wanted a "Harrison Ford type," and was going to audition people similar to Ford. Segel told Goldstein they had to at least bring it to Ford first, thinking he would turn it down immediately, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford was brought the project, generating interest from other notable actors.

Jason Segel is perfectly cast for this script

In the end, Goldstein talked to Ford and sold him on the role. Goldstein still doesn't understand what he did to convince him, but was elated nonetheless.. Featured in WatchMojo: Top 10 Best TV Shows of 2023 (So Far) (2023). And the rest of the show is great, too.

And Jessica is perfect

He has the weird, idiotically confident energy needed for this role. Her humor is just right for the dialogue. This is the new way of situation dramedies. No real punch lines, just engaging personalities with a pinch of quirk, and family circumstances that are just a little over the line from normal, but still relatable.

You would lose your license immediately

Of course, Jimmy's behavior as a therapist is completely absurd. Just impossible. But we allow metaphorical situations in drama. And in this script, we sense a strong purposefulness in the decisions.

Other reviewers, apparently, struggled

We have to give the writers the benefit and try to get the gist. For me, it's easy and fun.
