Scenario
After geopolitics forced him into exile, Alexey Molchanov – the world’s greatest living diver and son of freediving pioneer Natalia Molchanova – has spent 2023 on a journey to reclaim his sporting glory and honor the immense legacy of his iconic mother by attempting to create the most dominant season in the history of the deadly sport. His near-suicidal quest to set five world records in less than four months takes him to the farthest reaches of the globe and to the very limits of human productivity. In the process, he is forced to reevaluate all the skills and beliefs he has built his entire life on.
